The bottles are small, each nicely closed with a foil to keep the little bottles sealed properly.I've tried about four of them; Southwest, Texas, Black Cajun and Carolina Mustard.They are very very strong and spicy.Some of them made me sneeze after smelling. One of them, I think it was the Southwest Rub, proved to be very salty.Most of them are very peppery and/or chilli in taste. They are very bold hot hitting flavours.The first two I tried I took a bit too much for my liking and ended up with really hot tasting beef.Nice choice, great as a gift for spicy food lovers, great for BBQs to make more interesting food.For me personally, they are too strong/ too hot but I will keep using them in a smaller doses.Small bottles but full of flavour and taste.

Yes you can buy these for yourself but I think it would make a great gift. The look and feel feels a lot more expensive than it actually is making it good value.The bottles are well sized and portioned to give a little taster of the different spices and everything is well labelled.I think what gives it that extra fancy touch is the seal on the lids.Depending on how you cook it might last if you just do a tiny sprinkle but my set went wuite fast as I use a large amout of spices.The rubs work well in other foods also but I put spice mixes in everything.I'm not sure yet which is my favourite out of all the ones I had but they all added something different. It does look really nice displayed whilst it lasted. I'm thinking of reusing the little jars for arts and crafts.

Haven't used these yet so cannot comment on the taste but what I can say is that they look and smell amazing! I bought them as a Christmas present for a friend but had a little smell of a couple of them first and they smelled great. You get 12 spices with plenty of choice depending on how spicy you want the food. It comes in a nice box and the bottles of spice are lovely and colourful. Overall an excellent gift for any foodie.

This is a really great gift set with a good mix of flavourful spices which are great for use in your own kitchen or to gift. There’s a nice mix of cuisines and each should offer a good kick to your food, I eat a lot of tofu so this is great to season with. I’ve only tried one so far however it didn’t shake out easily like I expected and I had to use a knife to get some out, once out I could use it fine and the flavour was really good. It’s nice to have some quick and versatile flavouring options and I can be very creative with these.
