How it works

Five stages, one project lead, written milestones and a transparent quote at the second stage.

01

NDA & brief

Mutual NDA in writing before any product detail is shared. We then book a discovery call to scope the brief properly.

02

Concept & quote

You receive two or three concept directions with sample timelines, target costs, MOQs, and a fixed-price project quote.

03

Sample rounds

Up to three sample rounds included in standard projects. Recipe, packaging, label artwork iterated until you sign off.

04

Production

Full production run on signed-off samples. Quality checks at each stage. Photographic batch record provided for traceability.

05

Delivery & reorder

Pallet or split delivery. Future reorders streamlined; many clients move to a 90-day production cycle.

The fine print

Payment terms 30% on brief sign-off, 40% on sample sign-off, 30% on production sign-off. NET terms available on repeat business.
Confidentiality NDA in writing before any product specification is shared. Yours, ours, or a mutual template, your call.
Exclusivity Category-exclusive formulations available on minimum-volume commitments. Negotiated at quote stage.
We needed a signature gift sauce for our farm shop range. Tilz took the brief, ran three recipe iterations, designed the bottle and produced 1,200 units in nine weeks. It is now our best-selling private label SKU.

Common questions

Can we own the recipe?

Yes. Recipes developed exclusively for you can be assigned to your brand, governed by an exclusive supply agreement. Discussed at quote stage.

Do you handle compliance?

Yes. Allergen labelling, nutritional analysis, UKCA / UK + EU regulatory review for food products are all included. Specialist compliance (e.g. organic certification) quoted separately.

What is the minimum project value?

From £5,000 ex VAT for simpler single-SKU projects. Most multi-SKU programmes start at £15,000. We are not the right partner for sub-100 unit runs.

Do you export?

Yes. Most of our white-label clients are UK-based, but we have shipped private label production to Ireland, France, Germany and the UAE. Export documentation and labelling supported.

Can we visit production?

Once a project is signed, yes. We welcome client visits as part of sample sign-off and production approval. Arrangements made through your project lead.
